Ontario online gaming revenue jumps 32 % in 2024-25

Ontario’s online gaming market hit CA$82.7 billion in wagers and CA$3.2 billion in revenue in fiscal year 2024–25, up 32% year-over-year, as online casinos continue to dominate regulated play.

According to iGaming Ontario’s 2024–25 Market Performance Report (published in April 2025), the province’s regulated online gaming market recorded strong growth, with total wagers climbing to CA$82.7 billion and gross gaming revenue reaching CA$3.2 billion. Online casino activity accounted for the majority of revenue, reinforcing its position as the leading vertical within the market.

Despite this expansion, the proportion of players using regulated sites dropped slightly to 83.7% in 2025, down from 86.4% in 2024, signaling ongoing competition from unregulated platforms.
